Exactly, I think it’s appalling the way some people dress for church nowadays. To me it’s just disrespectful. T shirts, shorts, flip flops. I guess I’m just old fashion.
The information professionals of the eighties revolted against formal clothing, gradually spreading the trend to the young. When the eighties were over and professionals began to return to suits and ties the Southern states with their sticky hot summers never went back.
Women likewise to a lesser extent.
Many people not only do not own a suit, they have never even worn one unless they rented one for a wedding.
