Vatican: Sovereignty Diametrically Opposed to Europe
The pro-sovereignty movement that made such extraordinary gains in Sundays European elections is the enemy of Europe, the Vaticans LOsservatore Romano newspaper said in a front-page editorial Monday.
Andrea Monda, personally appointed as the newspapers editor-in chief by Pope Francis last December, said that the Legas substantial victory in Italy was particularly worrisome.
Sovereign, as the word itself indicates, is the one who does not want anyone above himself, who wants to be free from any other presence that is seen as a suffocating limit to his own freedom, Mr. Monda said. It is from this misunderstood sense of freedom that Europes problems arise, as highlighted by the election results.

Sure wish this asshole would just STFU.
Stay in your lane, worry about Salvation, Abortion, etc.

Shut up pope. You may be a dictator in your little country, but you have no right to tell people how to think. They live in free countries. They have a right to life.

False narrative, Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself absolutely demands we Love ourselves. It is Precisely because of Mans fallen and corrupt nature that we must surrender sovereignty to God, not that guy banging on the door, demanding to take your house/belongings/lives. Your neighbor could be just as evil as you were, before being saved. Worse, Leaders tend to to a great degree Narcissist Ego Maniacs that do not give a damn about anything but POWER. Self sovereignty is the first defense against Evil.

By opposing sovereignty, a cornerstone of liberty, the Roman Catholic Church has become the enemy of free people.
Act accordingly.

Dear MeganC: Please do not confuse the Peronist Pope with the Roman Catholic Church.
Thank you.

Where is the Church when this pretender spews crap like this? Where are the Cardinals to remove him? Where’s the revolt from the Bishops?
Silence is consent.

AMEN.
Every day this “REPRESENTATIVE of CHRIST on Earth” moves ever closer to that long-predicted name : The False Prophet. I think he knows this, too.

"Sovereign, as the word itself indicates, is the one who does not want anyone above himself, who wants to be free from any other presence that is seen as a suffocating limit to his own freedom, Mr. Monda said. Certainly sounds like a certain Argentinian gentleman now resident in Domus Sanctae Martae.

I appreciate your good will, and I join you gratefully in prayer that the good pastors be advanced, and that the bad ones cast down from their places of power and influence, before they do more evil.
And -- as Paul told Timothy is the desire of God ---that all men be saved, and come to a knowledge of the truth.

Certainly sounds like a certain Argentinian gentleman now resident in Domus Sanctae Martae.Divine public revelation ended with the death of St. John the Apostle; yet Pope Francis is constantly telling us to listen his "'god' of Surprises".

But what about the sovereignty of "oppressed" Communist, indigenous, and Third World countries? They're all very jealous of their sovereignty and one of the most frequently used Communist accusations against the west was that it "interfered in the affairs of a sovereign country."
What about Left wing nationalism generally?

I would argue that the Pope and the Church are not inseparable, inasmuch as a pope is capable of material, and even formal heresy--- although he is not capable of binding the whole Church to error
de fide.
The present, disastrous pontificate is, I think, a true historic anomaly. This was predicted as part of the Great Apostasy --- so it does make me think we may be be near the end
