Just not for those silly jews that get converted during the tribulation, I guess. They get to suffer the wrath because the promises don’t apply to ALL the church, just those of us who get in before a certain deadline.

God says He is no respecter of persons. Why should unbelieving Jews be spared the "Time of Jacob's Trouble" and not go into the Tribulation the same as Gentile unbelievers? However, there WILL be deliverance for the converted Jews:
At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress such as never has occurred from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt. (Daniel 12:1-2)
