The article didn't produce much in the way of evidence against him. If he was doing it continuously, I would think that once she made up her mind to get him, she could have made certain that they got evidence.
I wonder what the Jury saw to convince them? I couldn't convict just based solely on what was presented in the article. What I would be expecting to see is some sort of DNA evidence, or recording, or witness, or something.

I read a different article about this same crime. Apparently, investigators found some of his seminal fluid on the bed frame.
