I have a friend whose husband beat her and slept around. As a Christian, she didn’t believe in divorce, but knew she had biblical grounds, and did divorce him. You really didn’t read either the article or the many previous posts that mention finding his DNA, did you?
There is probably more to the story. Something tells me that the evidence wasn’t particularly strong and that the judge may have given a more lenient sentence as a result. Alternatively, this May not have been this 14-year-old’s first rodeo and perhaps the judge believed that she seduced him. Whatever the reason there has to be more to the story.
