many false prophets will arise and lead many astray (Mt 24:4-9). Pope Francis?
That is a serious twisting of what scripture says. Jesus said,
“IF YOU ABIDE IN MY WORD, you shall know the truth - and the truth shall set you free.”
Notice the huge “IF” at the beginning. Only those who “abide in His word” will know the truth - and only THEY will be set free.
Take out the first two phrases of this conditional statement, and you make a lie.....”the truth shall set you free.” which is NOT true if a.) you don’t abide in His word, and b.) then you will not KNOW the truth, and c.) the truth will be the truth - but it won’t set you free.

As it is, I am both comforted and dismayed to find all of these explanations from the past that support and give reasons for what I see now in our today.
Its all real and its happening all around us and to us.
A false pastor will start out by qouting what Jesus said
but then give a hundred and one reasons why it is not to
be taken literal, in other words never mind what the Bible
says because it don’t say that.
I will tell you what it says.
Many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and decieve many.
Beware of these false preachers and read the Bible.
