His story is great. I love the story of how he got one over on Gotti. Sounded right out of Trump’s playbook that with an egomaniac you have to make them believe they got one over on you.
He was the 2nd in command of The Outlaws, a 1% motorcycle gang, facing spending the rest of his life in a federal penitentiary before he got saved.
He's been preaching the Gospel for the past 2 decades.
At first I wondered whether Franzese was just running another con to make money off of speaking engagements at churches, but he’s been solid in his witness for over 20 years now so I give him the benefit of the doubt.
Was at my Church a couple of years ago, very compelling testimony.
Michael Franzese was never a “mob boss.”
His father, Sonny Franzese, was a capo under the Columbos.
Michael was never anywhere near that high.
Convenient for Michael that Gotti is not around to dispute the story.
He was a capo regime.

The sentencing was the latest chapter of a criminal career dating to the Great Depression of the 1930s.
Franzese's first arrest, for assault, came in 1938.
