....Yet you had Abraham and Sarah. Well, yes, you CAN bear a child at the age of 100, IF you have God willing to cause a miracle.
For the REST OF US, women experience a decline in fertility as they get older. The best time for a woman to start having kids is in her early 20's. Waiting til her mid to late 30's greatly increases the odds of infertility.

Then of course that trust in God had to be learned via what took place when that same Abraham and Sarah done what was considered a human solution with having Hagar bear a child, who would go on later to become Ishmael.

My citation of a reminder to trust God. God may want women to trust Him to give them healthy kids in their 40's or beyond.
Or, more likely, His expectation may be that women exercise a bit of common sense, and try to start having their kids at the age where they are designed to optimally bear children (late teens through twenties).
At least in the absence of clear instructions to the contrary, directly from God.

Maybe they wait because also of the issue of being “mature” as they age.

Maybe they wait because also of the issue of being mature as they age. My wife is mature. Being in her sixties, she is also long past the point of having her own kids, although we both enjoy minding the grand-kids.
That's how things used to be. People had kids while young, and were able to rely on their own parents and network of older relatives to advise them.

Make your own decisions. But never forget, that decisions can incur irreversible consequences. Being a mature adult involves being willing to face that fact.

Things can be resolved and reverse.
Peace out!
