They don’t believe in the God or Jesus of the Bible.
Use the same words but have different meanings.
That’s true, they don’t. About a year ago, I met a really super nice young Filipino, a 21 year old guy, at BAIA airport. He was a totally nice guy, and we had a nice discussion. I said, so you say you accept the Bible, in so far as it is correctly translated. He said yes, so I said, can you tell me where it is incorrectly translated? He was stumped. I could tell he didn’t want to talk about his doctrine, so we just talked about the Philippines.
I thought he was a typical Filipino. Very nice, and very hospitable, but his religious doctrine is not good. 👎
