Did he? Or is he saying that just these particular Islamists are barbarian/radical? I'm going to predict a forthcoming clarification/apology making it clear that he isn't saying that the religion of Islam is barbaric or that all Moslems are barbaric. Just these particular Moslems. In other words, the usual rhetoric.
