Just wondering why demonic gargoyles would be placed on a “house of worship”? Will these demonic statues be reunited with the reconstruction?

What have statues of baal, moloch, baphomet and the phoenix have to do with Christianity?

Just wondering why demonic gargoyles would be placed on a “house of worship”?

They're drains for rain water, to keep it from running down the masonry. If we wanted to honor them, we wouldn't have dirty water spewing from their mouths. That they look demonic is intended as an insult to demons.

they are:
a) there to scare off evil spirits
b) there to represent the evil in the world that plagues those ‘outside the congregation’ (cast out of, or not part of the Church)

I’m not that well-versed in the history, but I believe the purpose of gargoyles was to be used as rain spouts the building.
