What I meant was that we don’t know why Teddy was granted annulment. He, for sure, is a corrupt leftwinger in a corrupt diocese, but it is still a leap to immediately presume he just paid enough. There could have been something in his first marriage that I don’t know about, that made that first one nullable, and if he had more than one after that, they were nullable on the strength of the first one. Something similar happened with Newt Gingrich’s marriages, and countless others
