Thankfully, our Lord Jesus never went through a three year period to be baptized. He would never have made it to the cross. Since He was/is God then they can invoke that in response, but what if Paul waited 3 years before he started his ministry?

Meanwhile, despite the emphasis upon catechesis, the response by RCs to vast multitudes of liberal RCs is often that such are poorly catechized.

So you wouldn’t be willing to spend three years to learn what Jesus taught His Apostles so that you could accept those beliefs and to be Baptized and forgiven your sins?

Jesus didn’t need to be baptized, as He already had the knowledge and was free from sin, but in His humility he showed us that we needed to be baptized for our salvation.

Even the Apostles spent three years with Christ. I w3ould have been honored to be there, even though Christ told them they would suffer.
