I would like to see the ELCA’s position on these new abortion laws. I imagine it is quite different than the LCMS position.

The ELCA is an apostate Sunday social club not a Bible believing Christ following denomination. I wish they would stop calling themselves Lutheran

I’m not particularly a Lutheran, but I have visited from time to time. <3 the LCMS.

The LCMS is one of the churches we are looking at as a replacement for our UMC. Even though the UMC conservatives just won a major battle retaining biblical teaching on homosexuality in ordination and marriage, the forces arrayed will not back down. We’ve added new penalties, but the enforcers of those new penalties are the same bishops who refused to enforce prior to the voting.

I converted from Roman Catholic to LCMS, best religious decision I ever made.

I won’t argue with that. I’m a bit more on the bapticostal side, but if I had to go more traditional, they’d be at the top of my list.

Lifelong LCMS with son that is a LCMS pastor. I agree they are rock solid and am so thankful for that but we need to pray and constantly be on guard that they stay so in this crazy environment. As long as we stay focused on Jesus Christ and grounded in Scripture we will be ok!
