The only solution is to follow Scripture and remove every homo from every position of church ministry. This involves cleaning out their seminaries and cleaning homos from the Vatican.
I don’t believe they have the courage nor commitment to follow God’s Word.
But anything short of this is failure and damage control.

This is simply a falsehood. For instance, you can use statistics about a population in order to generalize about their behavior. It’s a statistical norm for homosexuals to pursue minors for sex. Therefore we may generalize that the odds are that any random homosexual has engaged in this behavior.

This is the art of propaganda by using the fallacy of category error.
“homosexuality” is always abnormal and destructive
“heterosexuality” is normal and constructive
This was the reason Benedict XVI was "retired". This was the whole point of Francis's constant emphasis on "mercy".
Mercy is indeed a Christian virtue. Mercy is ONE OF THE attributes of the Christ.
But picking up the banner of mercy to facilitate special pleading and heresy is no virtue.
The "Synods on the Family", the "World Meeting on Families", and now this farce of a bishops meeting in Rome were all aligned to this purpose.
But then Uncle Ted's story was broadcast to the whole world.
So, after all, it's NOT about pedophilia. It's not about illegal abuse of minors.
It's about an earthly society poisoned by homosexuality, with all the secrets, the special relationships, the bitchiness, the depression, the substance abuse, and all the rest.
And the members of this society (which may have persisted for more than a thousand years) cannot speak the truth, lest it destroy them.
It is, as my grandma would say, a "pretty pickle".
The Jesuit made sure he is surrounded by them. His current public statement is that anyone who disagrees with him (the Jesuit) is from satan. I wish we had Benedict.
Those who continue to support this obscene heirarchy risk sharing in its punishment. And by supporti I mean tithes and offerings, investing time and talent, and sitting in the pews week after week. Lip service to not supporting the system doesn’t cut it when drowned out by actions. Until rank and file Catholics revolt and or leave nothing will happen. They control vast amounts of wealth and keep people in line by teaching them they are lost without the corrupt system. I hope the Catholics find a way to purge the abhorrent rot from the top of their denomination
But Benedict is not dead. And yet he remains silent.
What is he afraid of? Losing his life at 90+?
