NEWARK, New Jersey -- The Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey, has released a list of 63 Roman Catholic clergy members they say have been credibly accused of sexually abusing minors dating to 1940.

New Jersey's four other dioceses are also expected to release names soon of clergy suspected of abusing minors.

Newark's list includes Theodore McCarrick, a former Newark archbishop who served as Washington, D.C., archbishop from 2000 to 2006. McCarrick was removed from public ministry last June.

A casual flip through the Pennsylvania paperwork shows a heavy majority of male-on-male-child sexual abuse.

Has anybody actually counted the numbers and ratio of male-on-male-child verses male-on-female-child?

The assertion is that Pennsylvania RC leadership opened up the ranks of clergy to homosexuals in the 1950s and 60s to help fill job needs. That this was a known thing, and that an underground movement of homosexual activity was also a known thing. And then, therefore, the male-on-male-child abuse was a natural fall out. And then, this demonstrates the lie that male homosexuality is supposedly not correlated with higher rates of pederasty.

In any event, as the left drives the RC-church-is-deviant-and-irresponsible-and-guilty-and-culpable story line, it is up to our side to say, well, okay, yes, and here is the underlying reason why: acceptance of homosexuality as normal.

Has anybody actually counted the numbers and ratio of male-on-male-child verses male-on-female-child?

Over 86% in the U.S., per the John Jay College of Criminal Justice report from the early 2000s, and over >90% in a similar report commissioned by bishops in Australia.

63 since 1940. Out of how many total priests? To get an idea of that number, here is a list of Catholic Churches in New Jersey.

Yeah, 1 molesting priest is too many. But just wanted to add a bit of perspective to the conversation.
