Tragically, however, the cardinal still seems blind to the fact that Francis is a product of Vatican II and that the ambiguous Catechism of the Catholic Church issued by John Paul II, cited throughout his manifesto, is not the sure safeguard against heresy that he believes it to be. Thus, we hope and pray that Cardinal Müller come to recognize Pope Francis as a logical consequence of the Second Vatican Council and the Modernist pontificates which followed. Still, in such confusing times, his manifesto constitutes a brave act of defense of the most basic tenets of the Faith, which sadly are under attack by the very man who is supposed to be their chief guardian.
I so appreciate their bravery, sorely lacking in most, clergy and laity alike.
The cardinal is blind because he is also a product of Vatican II. Until these men condemn Vatican II, convert to the Catholic Faith, and elect a true Catholic as pope, things will not change.
