I think if you have listened to Rick Warren as much as I have you will clearly notice a difference. He is true to God and what we need to do and is very different than the others you listed. He is also in the lions den telling them what needs to be done.

I have listened to him often. There are a myriad of problems with his teaching once you get past the folksy "niceness" of his presentation.

1. Purpose Driven mentions not one word of repentance! (Jesus sais, "unless you repent..."

2. Purpose Driven says, "avoid prophesy, it is a diversion" (Jesus says, "watch and pray that you might be counted worthy to escape the things coming on the earth!")

3. Rick Warren's peace plan makes no attempt at "evangelism"!?

4. Rick Warren's books use up to 12 different versions of the Bible, some of them paraphrased or apostate versions (as though they are all equal or not important)

There are many other areas where he falls short of the Gospel...and I hate to say this, but Rick Warren is aptly named. As one of the leading evangelicals in the world, he multiplying the number of unclean in the Church; people who see no need to repent, or understand prophesy and the Gospel of the Kingdom, or know the true Prince of Peace, or read the engrafted Word of God which is able to save souls. So, how's that Chrislam working out for him? I stopped paying any attention at all to Rick Warren when he laid down with the muslims.

The pastor at the church I used to attend was a personal friend of Warren's and he distanced himself from him when "Chrislam" started up ....

Rick Warren is lost. Sorry.
