Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
We Praise Your Holy Name!
Your Will be Done.
On Earth as it is in Heaven.
Teach us, LORD,
To Love You With Our Whole Mind,
Our Whole Heart,
And Our Whole being.
May The Words of Our Mouth,
And the Meditations of Our Heart,
Be Acceptable To You,
Oh LORD, Our God.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Leaders of Our Nation,
May They Be Inspired and Led By You,
And Please Guide Them in All Things.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

In Art Class we learned about the Color Wheel, which showed us how to mix colors to get new ones. The Primary Colors were Red, Yellow, and Blue, and those would be mixed to form Orange, Green ,and Purple. However, only two primary colors were used to get the secondary colors. If you put all three together, you would get mud. And yet, if one was dealing with colored light rather than pigments, the three colors mixed together was a pure white light. This phenomenon always fascinated me as an art student, and my favorite color was the one where red and blue joined together to make purple. This worked for both pigments and light and so my bedroom was a kaleidoscope of purple, lavender, mauve, and violet!

Until the end of the 19th Century, the Color Purple was hard to come by. Because the natural products that yielded this color were hard to come by, Purple was reserved for Royalty, The very wealthy, or for special occasions such as a funeral. When artificial dyes were invented in the 1890's, purple became so popular that it became known as "The Mauve Decade".

Lydia was a dealer in Purple Cloth. Her business must have been very lucrative, and she seems to have been a wealthy and independent woman. And yet, she responds to Paul's message with grace and hospitality.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance..” Psalm 33 NASB

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
