Eh baloney. Just another pop artist that wants the biggest audience possible. Same in New Country, they love the homo culture and kicked out Mike Huckabee.
No free pass for the bimbo.
This is a superb piece.
Which was a huge, colossal mistake.
You couldn’t possibly be more wrong.
OK, it’s a well-written, if long and overbearing, article.
Who cares? If she was saying she was practicing homosexuality, that would be a big deal. I don’t happen to think that every person in the world is called to be casting judgement.
I believe homosexuality is a sin. I don’t go around shouting “sinner” at people who are homosexual, nor do I make it my mission to denounce homosexuality every chance I get, any more than I would denounce anybodyh I met who was in a sexual relationship without marriage, or was cheating on their taxes, or stealing internet from their neighbors, or committing any of a myriad of sins that all of us are guilty of in one way or another.
God did not put me on the earth to judge, he will judge. If someone asks me, I will tell them what I believe the rules are, because I won’t lie, and I won’t be a source of stumbling, but beyond that, I am a light to the world by how I live, not by how much I can yell at other people.
Sorry, she’s just not too bright period going on Ellen was a dumb move, and the venues she picks open her up to these questions. And her desire to be popular with the Ellen crowd and the pop culture crowd will always lead her to say the most lukewarm thing. I Think Jesus said something about lukewarm water.
+1
Who cares, she’s entitled to her opinion. When people can’t even recognize there are only two “genders” this is like picking the fly poop out of the black pepper.
Article or artist?
[sorry, could not resist]
Every one who is a follower of Christ should be prepared to give Biblically centered answers to those who ask basic questions.
Another story about choosing whom you will serve, God or Mammon?
Knock it off. She is NOT a bimbo.
Well put.
Here Lauren, allow me to craft a response to those “journalusts” who seemingly feel the need to ask such foul and foolish questions... pwrhaps you should consider such a retort.
“Asking anybody about what they think concerning how people choose to have their orgasms demonstrates a complete lack of sensitivity, elicits mummering, and is done in the spirit of terribly poor taste.”
And I’m sure there are others out there that could present an answer much more eloquently than the one I adjust knocked together.
There is no "fudging", there is no "gray area" when it comes to Sodomite perversion that is clearly and overwhelmingly condemned throughout the Word of God.
This small c "christian 'artist'" only cares about their career and the money. They were not willing to count the cost for taking a stand for what is right in God's eyes.
It has gotten to the point where taking a stand for Christ and the truth in America will invite certain persecution and prosecution. It can cost you everything, and many are unwilling to pay the price and acknowledge Christ before men, for fear of man and what they can and will do to them.
"But whoever denies Me before men, I will deny him before My Father who is in heaven." (Mathews 10:33)
"The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the Lord will be exhalted." (Proverbs 29:25)
“I can’t honestly answer on that,” Daigle responded. “In a sense, I have too many people that I love that they are homosexual. I don’t know. I actually had a conversation with someone last night about it. I can’t say one way or the other. I’m not God. So when people ask questions like that...that’s what my go to is. I just say read the Bible and find out for yourself. And when you find out let me know, because I’m learning too,” she continued.
Sorry, but she had a chance to speak the truth. She isn’t 13. And she CHOSE to hide. To duck.
The beginning of the Gospel - the “Good News” - is “Repent”. Not “You are fine just as you are and Jesus wants to be your new best friend!”
Amy Grant Jr?
Beautiful response to the vitriol that she is receiving. She stumbled. Let’s not trample her as punishment. Sometimes, we are our own worst enemies.
Thank you.
How many times did Peter deny Christ preceding His crucifixion? Of course, Peter repented and was forgiven.
No judgment of you here, just wanting to put a bit of perspective on the table here in terms of man’s fallibility.
