I was ticked when Frankie made comments about people "who just go to Church" as if they should do more than "just go to Church."

Who the hell does he think he is? God Himself?

By his own admission, he is only the Bishop of Rome. That is one bishop among many.

So, maybe we should act accordingly.

The key to understanding Obama was that everything he did was designed to weaken the US or strengthen our enemies. And Francis is to the Catholic Church as Obama was to America.

The news a day or two ago that Francis criticized homosexuality in his new book may or may not mean anything. His criticism might just be Marxist dialectics -- two steps forward, one step back. His criticism might be real if he starts removing homosexualist cardinals and bishops from office, and excommunicating them.

As the old rhyme put it

The law locks up the man or woman
Who steals the goose off the common
But leaves the greater villain loose
Who steals the common from the goose

Stealing the church from the faithful. The game plan almost completely carried out by the progressives in the US Episcopal church. The game plan for the Catholic Church?

I very much doubt Pope Francis would tinker with the content of the extraordinary form. No reason to create yet another liturgy in the Roman Rite halfway between the ordinary and extraordinary forms and create more liturgical mess. I wouldn’t be surprised, however, if he tries to restrict the EF, e.g., by requiring the bishop’s permission, as suggested.

Let me tell you that this last Sunday, when the collection basket came to me, there was only ONE THIN DIME in the basket.

We're the wealthiest parish in the diocese!

THAT is how the faithful will send the message!
