Bodies rot and return to dust...some are cremated and other blown to smithereens...they will all become whole and healthy and without flaw. That's why I never understood the objection to cremation some religions had. If we dig up a grave from 100 years ago all that's left is dust anyway!

Yep - they equate the body to the soul that animated it...while memories and emotions try to tell you something else, once the soul leaves all that is left is a chunk of dead meat.
