Bergoglio has committed heresy (the death penalty thing, if nothing else). Benedict has not (that I'm aware of).
One is that B15's resignation was invalid because he did not intend it to be complete. He still wears papal vestments and pectoral cross (and the ring?), he is still called his regnal name (Benedict xvi), still living in the Vatican, styling myself "Pope Emeritus" even though there is not canonically any such thing, and he said something about giving up the active ministry of the papacy but not the "munus," whatever that means --- Ganswein said it meant that he was instituting a kind of "dual papacy" whereby Francis is the active, and Benedict the contemplative --- something quite outside of Scripture, Tradition or Canon Law.
Not only might Ratzinger's abdication be invalid, the 2013 conclave might also be invalid because of illicit "politicking" --- making deals and promises concerning policies, promotions, personnel, even money --- and this supposedly DID happen, before, during, and after the conclave.
John Paul II had created some legislation stating that this would not only invalidate a conclave, but result in the excommunication of those involved in the dealmaking. Retired Abp. Rene Gracida of Corpus Christi believes this to be the case. This would not only oust Bergoglio, but likewise the whole gaggle of fools, knaves and pious faggots he has appointed as Cardinals.
I have no idea if we can hope for this.
I do know this: The Lord Jesus will rescue His Bride.
