Guys, guys. Salvation is affiliated with the Roman Catholic wing of Christendom. Jack Chick is a weird thing to accuse him of being.
And I’m de facto affiliated with the Protestant wing. But let me confess a dirty little secret: I’ve never Jack Chicked in my life.
And we might as well account the Orthodox separately too, so everybody’s happy about church counts. Children, children.
It's not about Chick but Scripture. Even if you ask a Catholic if they are Christian, chances are good they will reply "Catholic". The Roman church was of course born in Rome, not Jerusalem. It was invented by Constantine 300-400 years after Christ started the church in Jerusalem. Rome brought in idol worship, changed the calendars, changed the holidays, and changed the Sabbath. It's beginnings come from Nimrod, the type and shadow of the Antichrist who tried to build his way to Heaven and failed. Semiramis was his wife that bore Tammuz, supposedly the reincarnation of Nimrod. Semiramis was called the mother of God and mother of Heaven, thousands of years before Mary. Tammuz was born on Dec 25th and Jesus was born on Tabernacles. Jesus was killed on Passover and rose on First Fruits, and Semiramis was born on "Easter" from and egg. In Eze 8:14, God speaks of the Abomination going on in the Temple. Keep reading through verse 17 and you will see a "Sunrise Service" with their backs to the Temple and the priests worshiping the Sun god in the morning (in the East).
These names have been called Zeus, Jupiter, and a hundred other names. Rome just substituted God and Jesus with a Mary kicker for the names of their idols.
Jesus, OTOH, was a Jew, lived as a Jew, worshiped as a Jew, and died as a Jew. The stylized version of Jesus is a blond blue eyed version of Jesus that ate a leavened French loaf at the Last Supper.
We now have people that will pray to a statue of a woman and a bunch of dead men instead of praying to the father in the name of Jesus. Scripture says it's the doctrine of demons to forbid to marry. We are told in no confusing terms to pray only to the Mediator, Jesus. We are told NOT to have repetitive prayers.
Now cut to Revelation. Who have all the kings of the earth committed "fornication" ( worshiped other gods)with? Who sits on 7 hills in 17:9? Who has killed more of God's saints than all the other religions put together in 17:6? Who is the woman that is a great city over the kings of the earth in 17:18? In 18:2-3?In 18:4, God commands His people to come out of her or be treated as lost people.
Back in Revelation 2:18-29, we see the church at Thyatira. That happens to be the daughters name of Nimrod and Semiramis. Churches are women in Scripture, so a daughter is a break off of the Babylonian religion. Christians are virgins and Jews are "Widows". If you don't leave the RCC, you will be left behind to suffer the Tribulation in vs 2:22.
There are no popes, nuns, and cardinals anywhere in Scripture even to Revelation. Most believe the "false prophet" in Revelation will be a pope, but he will be over the "world religion" whoever he is. There are many more indications that the RCC is Babylon, but you probably have stopped reading long ago. In the end, you must make a choice to come to God or stay Roman Catholic. That applies to everyone really. Denominations are traditions of men Scriptures warn about. If Paul spoke in tongues, that doesn't make him Pentecostal, but every born again Christian baptized with the Holy Spirit has gifts from Him and probably speak in tongues. If a Baptist says it comes from Demons, that is what Jesus talked about in Luke 11:11-26. In another place he says that blaspheming the Holy Spirit(calling the Holy Spirit a demon)is unforgivable. Don't cling to a denomination over your relationship with God. Your denomination can't save you. A priest can't forgive you, and Mary doesn't hear you. If she could hear you, she cannot answer prayer. You tell us you don't worship idols yet have statues in your yard, in your home, and on the dash of your car. In South America they have them on the side of the road. During Festivals, they worship a bone or a portrait or some other relic their are hanging on to.
The reality of all this is God see 2 people. He sees His people, and all the others. His people worship Him. The others worship idols. Babylon has a whore and the world fornicates with her. You need to figure out who that woman is before death and/or the Last Days.
