Catholic bishops are entering their final week of debate over hot-button issues facing young Catholics, including how the church should welcome gays and respond to the clerical sex abuse scandal that has discredited many in the church hierarchy.
The month-long synod of bishops ends next Saturday with the adoption by the 260-plus cardinals, bishops and priests of a final document and approval of a separate, shorter letter to the worlds Catholic youth.
Some of the youth delegates to the meeting have insisted that the final document express an inclusive message to make LGBT Catholics feel welcome in a church that has often shunned them.
The Vatican took a step in that direction by making a reference to LGBT for the first time in its preparatory document heading into the meeting.
But some bishops have balked at the notion, including Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput, who insisted in his speech that there is no such thing as an LGBTQ Catholic or a transgender Catholic or a heterosexual Catholic, as if our sexual appetites defined who we are.

I just don't understand why queers are always demanding others change for their minuscule minority, all they have to do is go to a religion that approves of their type of behavior, you know like the Church of Satan or the Church of England.
Time to go back to your meds!
Bye!
I agree.
Public school propaganda works.

Nice snarky come back. Care to provide a rational response to what I said? I wonder what you'll have to say in a few years when it really happens.
Well the accusation comes right back to you.
Bye!
Yes, and sinners make up 100% of the population of the Church. Its not a house for the perfect, but for those seeking Christ. And yes, even some with same sex attraction are seeking Christ. But yes, they need to seek to live a celibate life. information)
Fake News. Robert Royal has been reporting from the Youth Synod every day and said maybe one of the youth groups wants the group to change its doctrine on sodomy. Royal goes on to say that 99.9% of the Youth groups want the truth of the gospel and want the church to get back to speaking the truth, not caving to popular culture. Royal says nothing will be changed as far as sodomy is concerned. Its a sin, so dont practice it, but the church is not changing anything because Gods words are eternal.
I get it. In your heart you know I'm right, but you're not ready to accept it.
In my heart I am and you are wrong.
Give it up, you are done.
This is the last post from me.
Amen.
No, it's the catholic church that's done. As in, stick a fork in it. Homosexuals and pedophiles have won. Accept it or #WalkAway.
