The NCC is a gaggle of leftist organizations disguised as churches.

Just a note, but “churches” that belong to the National Council of Churches are not biblical churches.

The National Council of Churches

The NCC and its companion the WCC, has been anti-Christian, anti-values for decades. The member communions are not true churches, but rather synagogues of Satan.

The National Council of Churches

The name says it all. . .check out what they stand for. Many congregants have no clue that their denomination sends a lot of money to this organization. Do the research. A reason to drain religious swamps, too and a reason to search elsewhere for a church if yours is among those financially supporting this outfit.

The church council wants Kavanaugh to withdraw. This don’t Mean that this is what the church members want.

From a 2014 WaPo article:

Many congressmen had long ago realized that the liberal NCC was not speaking for churchgoers in their districts, and the NCC’s political influence plummeted. Its constituent denominations and communions — mainline, black Protestant, historic peace traditions, and Eastern Orthodox —- faced their own institutional and financial challenges and, of course, unprecedented membership decline.

Extreme partisan bias hopefully means being willing to stand up for the Constitution rather than submit to the demands of those in love with Arbitrary government even though when government is up to its neck in dogooding the people are encouraged to honor it for its gifts rather than God.

Maybe people need to remember that what Scrooge had to learn was that humanity was his own business, and not to dully shuck it off onto professionals to take care of people. That our publicly funded agencies are more agreeable these days means nothing: if you trust government to take care of your neighbor the YOU aren’t doing it. Like Scrooge, if you only wait for those who pick your pocket (people miss that implicit in that charge was that he was in fact apparently supporting them, otherwise he’d have only cause to complain about them making a nuisance of themselves) to do good in your name, the professionals, humanity isn’t your business so much as humanity is other people’s business and you support them.

... of course Scrooge might go farther to observe that what he grudgingly gave up to the poor houses (as bad as they were they were the professionals of his day tasked with taking care of the destitute) etc he at least did have to give it willingly ... whereas people these days are being generous with their votes.

Indeed, I reason that charity being voluntary was no small part of why it was deemed to be insufficient, for only by MAKING people support these works do you insure no one gets to opt out. A casual examination of the benefits so given shows they are rarely “sufficient”, especially not to satisfy wants, and further that if people think they are receiving their due just because they’re here are they more likely to be thankful and feel blessed or think someone is holding out on them?

I’m not sure if I could ever call myself a Christian if this is what 40 million Christians do when the Democraps sling accusations with no proof just to destroy a family to hurt the President that appointed him.
