big error in the KJV version is the sixth commandment, which properly translates to “Thou shalt not murder”, NOT “Thou shalt not kill”.

Hebrew, as English, has two verbs for the two concepts. King James got it wrong...

I don`t think KJV got it wrong, i think it was translated with the idea that people would have sense enough to understand the with out cause.

We are not to kill anything with out cause and we are also not supposed to murder, two different things but both are wrong.

KJV chose the former, probably because there is a lot more killing with out cause than there are murders.
