Time to leave the Catholic Church and join a real Christian Church.

It is apparent that many priests and bishops are a bunch of guys who like to dress up in fancy robes, jewelry and tiaras - taking money from the poor to finance their selfish lifestyles.

To abuse the innocent children of their congregants is the greatest sin.

Jesus is weeping.

What good does it do anybody if you leave the Church? Does it show fidelity? Does it console the sorrowful, comfort the afflicted? Does it purify anybody or anything? Does it honor God? Does it show trust in Him?

Even when the Hebrew people in the Wilderness were at their worst, Moses upbraided them but did not leave them.

Even when Israel and Judah were "fornicating under every green tree," sinful enough to make themselves fodder for pagan invaders, the Prophets said "You will be knocked flat to the ground" but never said "I'm outta here."

Christ said He would never abandon us or leave us orphans, but would stay with us "until the end of the age." If you leave, it's like saying "I don't believe that."

We're in the beginning -- not the middle or the end --- of a period of hard suffering and purification. Christ will not give us a way to evade it: He will give us a way to go through it through Him, with Him, and in Him.

"The extreme greatness of Christianity lies in the fact that it does not seek a supernatural remedy for suffering but a supernatural use for it." - Simone Weil

"It is apparent that many priests and bishops are a bunch of guys who like to dress up in fancy robes, jewelry and tiaras . . . "

You're on to something. This isn't just the Catholic Church, but also the Anglican Church and a number of small offshoots where everybody's a bishop and everybody gets to dress up in frilly clothes and everybody is a homosexual. I seriously think that the clothes have a lot to do with it.
