This article confuses the mid-trib rapture position with the pre-wrath rapture position.

To follow the exegetical argument of pre-wrath, you must identify the distinctions between Daniel’s seventieth week, The Great Tribulation, and The Day of the Lord.

I may not have time for an extended discussion on all of the related issues here, but I would like to point out that an explicit description of the rapture does not exist in the book of Revelation.

In fact, the resurrection of the righteous which is described at the end only mentions those included in this “first resurrection” as those who were beheaded under the reign of terror by the anti-Christ.

The book seems unusually silent about the remainder of the righteous dead who will be raised in their own timing / order, as well as anyone being snatched up (righteous or wicked).

I believe this is so because God did not want it to be easy to discover the answers to the questions being debated on this thread.

Oh boy. Whenever you get into the "well, that word doesn't really mean what they've been teaching for centuries," you've lost. Why fight that illogic? It's their way or the highway. Just ask Jesus about it.

There's a reason we can't know the day or the hour. You don't know, nor do I when he will return. You present your side, and when there are 2-20 verses that contradict, well, then, that was for a different time or some other nonsense excuse. It's pointless to argue pre-, post-, mid-, and as predicted, it causes arguments and distrust.

But pride gets in the way of those who are dead set on the rapture being pre-trib. Then again, those same people won't even admit that the word rapture isn't in Scriptures.

Ever considered that the hours you've spent venting and fuming, you could have been witnessing to the lost right across the street? Which is more important, winning souls or convincing us heathen about the error of our tribulation ways? Never mind, I think I know the answer.
