Developments & Reactions
This post continues our coverage of the ongoing ecclesiastical Chernobyl unleashed by the accusations of the former Vatican nuncio to the United States, Abp. Carlo Viganò, which were first published on Aug. 25 and have the potential not only to bring an end to the Francis pontificate but even to throw the entire Vatican II Sect into unprecedented chaos:

What will tomorrow bring?
The bad fruit comes by and large from the bad tree well known as "Vatican II", dear people. Modernism is the synthesis of ALL HERESIES, said a little known (yet modern-day) Saint.
THIS IS HUGE.
I weep for Christianity. The Catholic Church held together under threat of massacre for centuries, will fold under the weight of sexual perversion.
I read your website. The fundamental error there is the claim that no true Pope could possibly impose "evil disciplines" like the post-VC2 popes allegedly have, therefore none of those men are "true Popes". (Sounds a lot like the "true Scotsman" fallacy.)
There is no such promise contained in Pastor Aeternus or anywhere else. We've had Popes who approved slavery, for example (and others who condemned it).
The only promise you have in Pastor is that the Pope, when (a) speaking in his supreme authority as Pope (b) to the whole Church (b) teaches definitively (c) a doctrine concerning faith and morals, he will not err. All four conditions must be met. There is no claim that the Pope will never promulgate an "evil discipline".
This is a Catholic caucus. If you are not a Catholic then refrain from comments, per forum Caucus rules.
Well, that is probably the hope of the Adversary, but I don't think so. The Church has survived far worse. Reform is already beginning to coalesce in the grassroots, and with today's improved communication, will spread far, far more quickly than in the past.
Baptized at St Hedwig’s, confirmed at Our Lady of Sorrows. McBride High School. Is the Pope Catholic? No, he’s Jesuit.
But see:
http://christorchaos.com/?q=content/if-it-acta-apostolicae-sedis-it-official-teaching
Wherein it states (with corrections):
...the One responsible for the formulation of dogma is the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, under Whose infallible protection popes teach the truths of the Catholic at all times, yes, even when not proclaiming something solemnly ex cathedra. Catholics are bound to obey everything proposed by a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter without any degree of dissent, reservation or qualification. Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton proved that this is so in his scholarly treatises cited above.
In other words, if its in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis, it is official. No Catholic may take it unto himself to decide what is or is not binding upon himself or other Catholics.
Those Catholics who keep insisting that they have the right to sift through official papal teaching have been condemned throughout the course of Holy Mother Churchs history.
