So thats why my advice to you is, as always: in matters Catholic, ASK us, do not TELL us, what we can and cannot do.
And each person here pursues the conversation as they believe Best. Asking only reveals *your view/understanding* of Roman teaching, and not what may be true or important. I would also add that asking Catholics about their beliefs or relating how one reads and understands the written documents that state those beliefs shouldn't be out-of-bounds for a non-Catholic to bring up on a Religion Forum thread. This is especially true when you think about the claims Catholicism has made of being in authority over all Christians.
