Forgive the intrusion but I thought I would give this brief update on my uterine cancer situation.
I got in to see a wonderful gynecologist/oncologist who confirmed this cancer is stage one and I can have the surgery done laparoscopically. The only downside is that I can’t have the surgery until October 17 (others more urgent than mine are in line before me = that is okay = they say mine is not an “emergency”.)
Just wanted to say thank you again for all the wonderful prayers for my situation. I have been at peace about it all during this waiting time. Been on FR probably too much :0... but it keeps my mind off my condition.....also listening to peaceful, uplifting Christian music. And, of course, spending more time in prayer = for self but also for others I know who are also dealing with cancer.
Anyway - won’t do another update until after October 17. Thanks in advance for any and all prayers for successful surgery with no complications and for them to “get it all” with the surgery. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Wonderful news! Stage 1 is very early and lap. surgery will make your recovery that much quicker.
