I was told by authorities to get therapy “to be a man and a human-being” and when I went to the place as instructed, I was told me they couldn’t help me.

Not sure I can top that. But how about this... I was told by the CIO after coming back from medical leave that I didn't need to worry about my job.... that it was safe. He laid me off a week later.
He was my brother.
