Offering sanctuary to Christians doesn’t excuse rigging elections, killing your opponents, controlling the press, speech, etc. People praising this are being played for fools.
I agree with you but would point out owning a farm in Putin’s Russia may be a better option than owning a farm in South Africa.

Most of the things you pointed out, except sanctuary for Christians happen here, too. I also like that Russian Law forbids promulgating homosexual programs we have here.
