Maybe after a few years in, Benedict knew this day would come, and didn’t wish to be Pope when it did.

Maybe after a few years in, Benedict knew this day would come, and didnt wish to be Pope when it did. So the solution is to throw up your hands, give up and surrender? Not the way it happened. The homosexual/pedophile mafia made Bennie an offer he couldn't refuse. It's like the worst kept secret in Rome.

Reading the testimony, I am beginning to understand Benedict more. He was surrounded and betrayed.

That OR he was going to clean it out with Cardinal Burk, and was forced out by the homosexuals in the Vatican. I think Cardinal Burk was the equivalent of Attorney general of the Catholic Church.
When Francis was installed as Pope Burk was immediately demoted to some figured head position!

Maybe after a few years in, Benedict knew this day would come, and didnt wish to be Pope when it did. Benedict knew about McCarrick, and severely sanctioned him. Bergoglio lifted those sanctions.
