Oh LORD, Our God,
How Excellent,
How Wonderful,
How Pure and Holy is Your Name Over All The Earth!
Ancient Of Days,
Rock of Ages,
King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
You Alone Are worthy of Worship,
For You Alone Are The One True God!

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Leaders of Our Nation,
May They Be Inspired and Led By You,
And Please Guide Them in All Things.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

A well-known talk-show host concludes his program every day with a line from this portion of John's Gospel. I am speaking, of course, of Sean Hannity, and the line is from the King James Version of John 14:1:

"Let not your hearts be troubled."

This deep and loving line is also used to comfort mourners in the Service of Christian Burial. One might think, "Well, that's easy for YOU to say! You, who have your own radio show and don't have to worry about where your next meal is coming from!" or "That's easy for you to say! You're not the one burying their best friend in the whole world!"

The phrase "Let not your hearts be troubled." is kind and sweet, but without the rest of the verse, is meaningless. It's like the scene in a Gene Wilder movie, where somebody comforting him says "There, there" and he responds, "Where? Where?".

It is not enough to say "Let not your hearts be troubled." Keep going with the Verse.

14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

The comfort comes not from the admonition to not be troubled. It comes from the assurance of God's Promise to those who believe.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance..” Psalm 33 NASB

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
