How would I repent without the Sacrament of Confession?
I warned you of your grievous sin; my conscience is clear.
But if you’re serious about repenting, then yes, Confession would be a very good idea, especially of the specific sin of hate.
If you’re not serious about repenting, then you’re going to die in your iniquity anyways, so I really don’t care what you try to do to make yourself feel better; it’s not going to make any difference.
Do you really need someone to hold your hand? aren't you an adult?
You can repent with or without someone else's involvement because it's a person's personal decision to turn from sin or not.
If you didn't already repent of your sin they why would you even go to confession?
