I havent checked on the others, but maybe this is enough to help your understanding. You should do some research about what you're posting. Sure looks like a lot of the ECFs were quite doubleminded.
No wonder Catholics have a hard time figuring out just WHAT they are supposed to believe!

If anyone teaches another doctrine and disagrees with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and with godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. Call no man father.

Perhaps you and Al can get together and post a few hundred words on just WHY you Catholics are ‘allowed’ to call some men Father.

The only rageposts I've seen on this thread were by non-Catholics.
"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours."

James Swan is not a Catholic. He is not one to give a Roman Catholic Perspective on anything. And you is; therefore you've NO authority to speak on anything Protestant.
(It's YOUR logic here...)

Swan deliberately searched out and selected only heterodox catholics. Theres nothing objective about his work. You actually typed this with a straight face?

[QuoteMakes one wonder if the Reformation was a house cleaning from God. It wouldn’t be the first time He’s done that and won’t be the last.
The OT has several examples of this happening. ]
It is found in Leviticus and the law is regarding a leprous ‘house’.
The law is spiritual and the Reformation was a visit.
And another visit is due and the scriptures hints the last 500 are just like the first 1500 in the leprous house.
A total of ‘about 2,000’ demon possessed swine years that have drowned in the sea of death.
Interestingly, Israel was kept ‘about 2,000’ cubits from the ark of the covenant before passing into the promised land.
We are in the about 2,000 period.
A breach period. A wilderness period.
A demon possessed swine period.
A rod that has turned into a serpent
A long leprous house period.
The ‘church’ today is not Light. It and its factions, denominations, fightings, squabbles is that leprous house that is due for another visit from the priest.
Amazing to see all the OT ‘law’ applied to a spiritual Israel and a spiritual house.
Quite the patterns to see if one is given eyes to see.
So,according to hints in scripture.
The last 500 years of Reformation is represented by demon possessed swine, just like the previous 1500 years.
Oops.

1: Yes, I will keep believing that; that’s what all the evidence points towards.
2: The fact that you continue in this sophistry shows that you care. And I am happy to encourage you to continue to destroy the reputation of Rome with your foolish posts.
Waiting for a NO U response. Have you looked up what it means yet?

Don’t forget that this sis the crowd that takes offense at the term *Roman Catholic*, which Roman Catholics themselves use.
There’s just no pleasing some people.
