Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven,
How Blessed,
How Glorious,
How Wonderful,
Is Your Most Holy Name!
Your Ways are not our ways,
And yet we hunger and thirst for You,
like a thirsty little deer panting in the forest,
seeking a bubbling spring for a fresh sip of water!

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

  We Pray For The Leaders of Our Nation,
May They Be Inspired and Led By You,
And Please Guide Them in All Things.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

It was a bright sunny day, and Mom needed to pick up a few things at the store. Dad had taken the car to work, so she put my baby sister in the stroller, had my little brother hold onto it with one hand and hold my hand with the other, and we proceeded to walk to the store at a rather slow pace, as Mom was expecting again. I had figured that out because I saw the "special vitamins" on her bureau, and she was starting to get a big belly. I had it all figured out! So there we were, a little caravan strolling through Ike's Post-War Baby and Building-Boom America, in a little neighborhood that resembled Leavittown, but was right in the City of Boston.

Everything was fine until we passed the house on the corner. It was the one with all the beautiful roses and the NO TRESPASSING signs posted every few feet.

The cranky woman who lived there was out in the yard, and when she saw us coming, she said out loud, "Oh gawd, she's PREGNANT again! Doesn't she know when to stop?"

Mom was devastated. She had never been exposed to such venom in her life and loved all of her children. It had never occurred to her that there was something wrong with having a big beautiful family.

As the years went by, Mom was again the target of malicious barbs , even from relatives, because she didn't have a "career". But, by this time, she had developed a thicker skin and was able to retort that her "career" was raising six wonderful human beings, none of whom were crazy, or criminals, and who all loved each other and their parents too.

Dad worked two jobs to support us, and we never wanted for anything. Sometimes money was "tight" but we always had dinner together around the big kitchen table. Like the Loaves and the Fishes, there was always enough.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance..” Psalm 33 NASB

Numbers 6:23 Say to Aaron and his sons, This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them, The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually). And they shall put My name upon the Israelites, and I will bless them.
