LOL. I think men are always in heat. 😁 In my OTC high school, I dont think more than a few cared what the church said about anything, let alone birth control. I didnt either. We handle our nightly activities as we see fit, to the glory of God. Everyone else, may feel free to stay out of our bedroom. 👍🤣
Artificial contraception tools are by design, buffers against God and the ultimate message being given to God is: "stay out."
I explain in post 17 how it's not by accident that Catholic art celebrates the beauty of the human body and merges the sensual with the sacred so beautifully...That Catholic cultures are more embracing of open displays of affection, dance, and touch. And that the adventure and freedom of surrendering one's body and sex life fully to GOD is inherently sexier than ascribing to a life insurance policy of "planned parenthood." Pun intended.
Even if Christians don't abort our "mistakes," we have abandoned the fullness of moral authority on the matter for a generation by catering to the secular demands of our postmodern, "pro-choice" contraceptive culture. And "pro-choice" is the slippery slope to statements like: "I can choose my gender."
"Pro-Life" is a pact we make with God. Even before conception.
As I say in my earlier post, Catholics and Protestants have historically held the same view on artificial contraception. It wasn't until the 20th Century, when a rift was created on this particular issue with landmark events such as the Lambeth Conference in England, 1931.
You are right as well, if you rejoice in your marital love to the glory of God, without barriers, blockades, sacrilege and sabotage against the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life. To the Glory of God!
