I agree they saw something.
That something was an apparition proclaiming a false message.
When you compare what the apparition, and all of these apparitions have said, to Scripture you see the contradictions with Scripture.
A piece of cloth is not going to keep you out of the hell-fire. If you're depending on that, then you are heading to the hell-fire.
The NT is clear...there is only ONE way to avoid the hell-fire.....belief in Christ, and only Christ.
Well, when I was a Roman Catholic, sometime back in the last century, I was only familiar with Lourdes and Fatima. I guess there are other so called Mary appearances too, though I cannot recall any names or places. Somewhere along the line, I figure some of these are just made up fairy tales, but some of them may very well have seen real demon manifestations. That must be scary, being in the presence of demons, masquerading as Mary.
Then there is old Joe Smith. I think he made the whole thing up, but its possible that even he saw a demon manifestation too. The Mormons have their magic underwear, the Catholics have their scapulars, none of which will save anyone from anything. 🔥

You know I am an ex catholic (praise God for that) As a result, I had only a very small interest in Mary apparitions. Since I was a bad catholic, and didnt really care much about catechism classes, I wasnt really interested in finding out more about it. I heard of Lourdes and Fatima, only because they were the most famous, and I wasnt told about others.
Now, I have been reading more about it. I see there are many such sightings I am convinced many are just made up fairy tales. On the other hand, I am also convinced, that some of these people actually DID see some vision. Since I dont believe for a second it was Mary, they were either guilty of necromancy, by trying to communicate with the dead 💀or they were under demon oppression. Either way, the messages given, contradicts scripture, and are fake news. I am comfortable in my skin, ignoring these so called apparitions. If others want to believe it, thats on them. I will have no part of it.
