Many of my good, Conservative friends loved this guy’s sermon and the way he presented it. Sort of an ‘in-your-face’ to the Royal Family. I KNEW he would use their status to gain a lofty position in this country.....and SURPRISE, he is. I attended a few Methodist churches in SoCal when we lived there. I had to leave 3 due to the politicization of the churches. This will not end well for those who use Jesus for politics.
I attended United Methodist services with my first wife even though I’m a Lutheran. Figured it would be roughly similar. Nope. One female preacher always ended up talking about gay rights and HIV/AIDS no matter what her sermon was supposed to be about.
