Evasion and deflection does not change what I said.
Roman Catholicism does not practice what it preaches. That is called *hypocrisy*.
Their actions show what they truly believe. The words are merely lip service so they can go around and finger point and look down their noses at others while they try to claim the high moral ground.
I have personally known some Evangelical pastors who committed adultery and they were IMMEDIATELY removed from the pulpit and their credentials were yanked. I know that in those churches as well, that members who live in adulterous relationships are either not allowed to become members or have their membership revoked.
Church discipline IS practiced in the Evangelical churches I’ve attended.
With some exceptions, the Catholic church does not kick out sinners. Yes, some priests are removed from ministry.
The Catholic Church is clear on its teachings. Yes some stray and they are not always corrected. They should be. Again sinners and their actions do not represent the teachings of the Church, even if they are priests.
The Church is full of saints and sinners and in spite of all it’s human weaknesses the Catholic Church is Holy. It is a long journey to Heaven and we need to help all understand the Truth. You are always welcome to come back to the Mass and the Sacraments.

You’re so right. I’ve been immersed in Evangelical church situations since birth, with many relatives and friends in the ministry. Once a pastor has been caught with his pants down — so to speak — he is gone, baby, gone! Before a week is up. None of this “hot potato, hot potato” business of shuffling him off to another church or ministry. He is OUT.
