I wonder what genealogical organizations have to say about stuff like this? Imagine trying to do genealogical research 100 years from now.

They would run into the problems I have been having trying to figure out who my great grandfather was. I have not been able to find any proof of existence of the person named as my grandfather. In addition, I think that modern genealogy methods turn up surprises... people finding out their fathers are not really their fathers, people finding out they are adopted, etc. It is also possible that the girl could use genetics to determine who she really is. I feel bad for her, being doomed to grow up in an abnormal family, which is a huge burden on the child, despite what leftists would love to claim.

Parenting and genetic research are two separate issues. My daughter has all her relatives here, her parents, grandparents, brothers, cousins, etc. But none of these are her genetic relations. So for her to do her genetic heritage research, it’s a fully different line. And there is nothing wrong with it. Adoption and third party reproduction is real and makes wonderful families, separate from anyone’s opinion of gay parents. Your genetics is your genetic lineage, but your family might be different.
