Cardinal De Kesel Wants Church to Accept Homosexual Fornication

“The Church must respect homosexuals more - also in their experience of sexuality”, Brussels Cardinal Jozef De Kesel, an enemy of the Church, said during a meeting with the gay group “HLWM” on April 24.

According to the gay propaganda webpage hlwm.be De Kesel claimed that the condemnation of homosexual acts is “no longer sustainable”.

De Kesel referred to Francis’ words “Who am I to judge” when he was faced with homosexual allegations against one of his collaborators. According to De Kesel such words would have been unthinkable "ten years ago" [when Benedict XVI was in charge].

De Kesel admitted that he himself, twenty years ago, would have spoken differently about homosexuality and would have followed the teaching of the New Testament and the Church.

According to De Kesel the [dying] Church in Europe “has changed for the better”, but the Church in Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia “is not yet included” in this change "for the better".

The problem of infiltration of the clergy by homosexuals is a very old one.

St. Peter Damian wrote about it a thousand years ago.

What has happened, is happening, is that the relative proportion of active homosexuals in ministry has surged, partly because of the wave of marriages (and departures from the priesthood) among straight male priests in the 1960s and 1970s; and also because of recruitment by homosexuals and tolerance of same in order to fill vacancies caused by the marriages of straight priests and a decline in vocations among men would would marry.

What we are confronting now among bishops like this one, and (maybe even) with Francis is a worldwide push by active homosexual clergy to "come out". This has not yet taken the form of senior bishops and cardinals taking steps to acknowledge their own homosexual conduct, which in many cases is probably in the past, but to simply announce it as licit for all, to "pave the way", if you will, for younger and therefore sexually active homosexual clergy to live openly.

I had some contact with this subculture in a major American archdiocese in the 1980s, and I'm sure it's much larger now.

In retrospect, it was remarkable how badly priests who married (illicitly) were treated after they announced their breaking of vows in comparison with how homosexual priests who are openly sinning were and are treated.
