Liz and the false Pope couldn’t be bothered while he was alive. Why should the Pope speak out now? Too little, too late.

I am no fan of this pope, and in fact think he's the worst pope in centuries, but he did actually bother this while Alfie was alive and met with the dad and advocated for them. First (and probably last) time I've thought he did a decent job with anything.

He could have told the British Catholics to protest in the streets and to flood their MPs with letters and e-mails. If there had been tens of thousands of people in the streets protesting against Alfie’s murder and hundreds of thousands of angry e-mails, the hospital would have been forced to let him go to Italy.
