LIVERPOOL, England, April 20, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) A nurse who worked at Alder Hey childrens hospital until this month has published on social media what he says is a scan of Alfie Evans brain along with the message that the baby deserves to die.
Up, Alfies brain. Down, same age healthy boy, the nurse wrote about the brain scans of two children that he posted to Facebook this week.
Sad reality, but ITS THE REALITY. He deserves to go, he has had enough, states the message from the nurse who described himself online as a PICU Staff Nurse at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital and Charity. A publication ban set by U.K. judges forbids LifeSiteNews from publishing the names and photographs of staff involved in Alfie Evans care.
The nurse's post comes a few days after judges set Monday, April 23rd, as the date for the removal of Alfie's ventilation, which will likely cause his death.

hmmm...no patient privacy over there?
Has anybody illustrated for her the similarity between her views and those of the Nazis?
I was in a discussion group with Dr’s, nurses and clergy that work with Hospice patients.
They were all proud that they overdosed people to help them die. I explained to them that they really don’t understand the dying process.
I did die, left my physical body and then came back. The soul detaches from the physical body automatically if the pain is too great. I looked back on my body thinking “good riddance.”
The pain and suffering has a spiritual purpose. And, it’s not that bad as we can step in and out of it, just as a logical person can step out of experiencing emotional pain.
Agreed, and God Bless you!
I presume your experience strengthened your faith and changed your life.
I have worked with Doctors and Nurses to teach classes against Physician Assisted Suicide.
This nurse has assumed for herself the role of the Almighty.
I wouldn’t want to be her/him.
“I have worked with Doctors and Nurses to teach classes against Physician Assisted Suicide.”
Thank you for doing the work that you do.
Yes it changed my life. While I am totally ok with death, and actually welcome it happening again as the bliss of Heaven is beyond words, life is precious at both ends of the spectrum.
We are here in these physical bodies for our souls to gain the necessary experiences to grow. Every moment is a learning experience, including death itself.
This is why I care for Hospice patients in my home. Just as the vineyard workers arriving at the last hour received the same pay as those who worked all day, the last hours prior to death are very valuable. I often do forgiveness work with people during these last hours. It helps them to leave in peace.
A person who can only be sustained through external ventilation and feeding is being artificially supported, that we know.......even so it is not murdering someone to let them die naturally when their brain is no longer functioning.
Patient privacy?
Not when the government wants the patient dead.
National socialism has never gone away
NHS is part of the government. Therefore the government is deciding who should live and who should die. Is the Britain that Americans died to save from the nazis?
True, but liberals have taken it upon themselves to dismiss the “socialism” part and emphasize nationalism as what Nazism represents. By coincidence (sarc) that corresponds more with conservatism in their minds. So if you believe in national sovereignty and enforcing the borders, you fit that definition. At the heart of liberalism is pure evil, and you can’t dissuade liberals by telling them that. At some level, they already know.
Seems Socialist Medical personnel really want to be murderers.
I think the truth is worse. I think the NHS doesn’t want it to be shown that children like this can be treated and have some level of recovery because then there would be a demand for the NHS to provide those services.
Even if this child were taken care of in Rome at no UK G’vt expense a precedent would be set and they would be pressured in similar cases in the future. The underlying assumption and governing principle is that the child will not produce enough to be worth the $ cost to NHS. That is a very slippery slope.
As if theres a difference between national and global socialism.
I have to agree. Temporary life support for someone that has the likelihood of getting better from an accident or illness is valid medical care. Life support that is only forestalling death because family members cannot bear to say goodbye is cruelty of the highest order.
More like a cliff.
It's not morally offensive --- not murder--- to turn off the ventilator when it can no longer prevent an inevitable death and it is more burdensome than therapeutic.
This is not so with nutrition/hydration. N/h are always "ordinary" care even when administered by tube. A tube makes no difference. It's just as low-tech as a sippy cup or a drinking straw. It's not really burdensome, and its purpose is not a futile intervention, it's merely sustaining life by preventing starvation/dehydration.
The only exception would be where the food simply cannot be assimilated anymore, and/or there are complications at the tube site (such as infection.)
(2) The second major issue here is the parents' right to seek better care for their child. If the parents want him discharged so he can be admitted to Gesu Bambino in Rome, the NHS needs to support their right to do so. Alfie's got a mother and father, he's THEIR child: he belongs to himself, his parents, and God ----not to the NHS.
This situation makes me sick.
Once again rendering to "Caesar" that which belongs to God. And the Catholic Bishops of Britain are going along with it. Shame. Shame and damnation.
