Alfie Evans’ Father Says Vatican Hospital is “Ready to Take Alfie Immediately”
LIFE NEWS ^ | April 19, 2018 | Steven Ertelt

After meeting Pope Francis at the Vatican, Alfie Evans’ father says the Vatican hospital is “ready to take Alfie immediately” and provide the care and treatment Alder Hey Children’s Hospital refuses to provide.

Tom Evans, 21, and Kate James, 20, have fought an extended legal battle with the children’s hospital to get it to allow them permission to take Alfie to the Bambino Gesú hospital in Rome. But Alder Hey hospital says it’s in Alfie’s best interests to pull his life support, potentially killing him.

Last night Tom Evans posted on the Alfie Army Facebook page to describe his time in Rome – where he met the Pope and the president of the Bambino Gesú hospital.

“The president of Bambino Gesú called me in for a meeting. She wants to take Alfie as soon as tomorrow and will do everything for him,” Evans explained. “Even if we find a diagnosis they will continue to search for a cure. She even wanted to come and meet him herself and still does. She was such a lovely woman and said they will do everything they can for Alfie as they would with any other.

“Pray hard this is Alfie’s step to his desperately needed transfer,” he said.

Evans also described what led to his trip to meet with Pope Francis.

He said: “Wow, what an emotionally exciting blessed 12 hours. I jumped on the plane at 11 last night [Tuesday] to Athens, got there for 4:50am, then took off at 6:05 to Rome to meet the Pope. Straight after interviews with various countries’ media – a lot of them. I spoke to the director of Vatican News, then was alerted the Pope had sent an urgent request to Bambino to take Alfie as soon as possible.”

Evans added: “Our child is sick, but not dying and does not deserve to die. He is not terminally ill nor diagnosed. We have been trying our best to find out his condition to treat or manage it.”

“I am now here in front of Your Holiness to plea for asylum, our hospitals in the UK do not want to give disabled children the chance of life and instead the hospitals in the UK are now assisting death in children. Alfie is not dying, so we do not want to take him out the way the hospital wish us to. We see life and potential in our son and we want to bring him here to Italy, at Bambino Gesú, where we know he is safe and he will not be euthanised.”

There are tens of thousands of poor, sick children in Africa, India, and China, too - children who are being denied treatment or who are receiving very sub-standard treatment. Is the Vatican Hospital ready to take them, too? Or is the hospital interested only in "high-profile" cases?

Mother Theresa’s order cares for sick kids in India every day. Other nuns do the same in Africa.

This is a whole different ball game. England has the ability to help Alfie they only want to kill him. His parents want to flee to save his life.

By your logic no one should help anyone if they cannot help everyone.

Those paying attention to the way the EU is treating Britain in Brexit know that the European court will opt for death...because in Europe “The State” is everything and “the people” are nothing.

England is doing a wonderful job convincing the world that they do not care about their own people...

Mine was a rhetorical statement (i.e., not intended to be taken at face-value, but rather to stimulate thought and discussion). It's clear that this is a publicity stunt.

The British regime, a democratically elected government that arrests and jails its own people as “hate criminals”, also denies its people medical treatment.

In Venezuela, its worse under the democratically elected leftist government of Nicolas Maduro, the principle is the same.

Theresa May’s British government that denied Charlie Gard treatment last year killing him now denies Alfie Evans treatment.

They call Assad a monster, I say Theresa May is a monster.

Her government has the moral authority of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela.

Am not even convinced Assad did it, I think ISIS did it! Why would Assad do it? What would he have to gain? ISIS on the other hand has everything to gain by mounting such an attack.

If I recall, the Gards wanted to bring Charlie to the US, dumping the cost of his care to the US taxpayers. They did not raise enough money for his care, most likely 4-6 months of care. Then we would have been paying the bill.

To the liars and pro socialized medicine trolls on this thread- The truth of what is happening here is that the British government has stated that all children are its property and parents have no rights at all.

As a side note-I have a question:

Is it possible that these NHS Nazis are actually after this child's organs? Or is it just garden variety blood lust?

Prayers for baby Alfie and his family and may God avenge him immediately.
