I hope I’m never at a congregation large enough and dysfunctional enough, to have someone around who keeps handcuffs on hand. Just in case.
Not trying to be racist here, just a realist. Black congregations tend to have a lot of drama, often violent drama.
There is a small municipal suburb of Fort Worth which has a very high black population, and as a result, the mayor an nearly the entire city council are black. There have been literal fist fights during council meetings. In once instance, a gun was displayed.
Probably poor leadership if you don't have armed and prepared security on site.
Maybe one set of handcuffs aren’t enough in some situations.......
