The Anti-Christian Movement
American Thinker ^ | April 1 2018 | E.M. Cadwaladr

Today, "atheism" means something entirely different from a simple lack of belief in God. What atheism has become can be more accurately described as "the anti-Christian movement." It is a movement that assumes that Christianity isn't merely naïve and false, but a major cause of social ills, something worth the effort to actively ferret out and purge from our society. This anti-Christian crusade has been both supported by, and a natural outgrowth of, the much larger program of cultural Marxism.

I believe the urgency to stamp out Christianity is also due to how as a faith it has the potential to unite people of all classes and colors.

The powers that be want us to always be divided and fighting with each other instead of waking up, getting together and jumping on them.

Though I agree with you, I think it goes much deeper then keeping us divided...

Cultural Marxism wants to kill the baby in the cradle.

Poison the minds of this generation so they reject Christ though indoctrination and incrementalism.

Lost forever...

Atheists today are among the most bigoted and hate filled people. The demand their way and usually get it in the courts. This virulent strain of anti Christianism has taken deep root in our military with repeated cases of Christians being told to shut up by the senior brass. And just like the other marxists on the march, there is no end point to what they want, there is always another goal just ahead. But their time on earth is not forever and there is a very steep price to pay.

Well said, but the real truth is within us, because, the Antichrist (Forces of destruction) evil agents, can be found everywhere.

They can even distort, from within, the religious organizations.

Other people's human delusions have no place in you.

The anti-Christian movement is the product of lazy
Christians who can’t be bothered to defend themselves. The movies have portrayed Christians as villians for decades (villians wearing crosses). I could never get my “Christian” relatives to care. Some even thought it was a virtue to ignore the propaganda and take their kids to see this stuff anyway.

European and American culture made being the “cultural Christian” a necessity for social acceptance. Your “lazy Christians” are really not Christians at all. They are just a part of society that expect them to be Christian.

It’s not a new phenomenon though. It is mentioned in the bible (and not just in Revelation). I forget the exact verses and don’t have time to look them up right now.

The Militant Atheists (more correctly Anti-theists) are doing God’s work by enabling these cultural Christians to rid themselves of their fake faith and to take up their Humanism proudly. We knew this would happen because we were told.

But God will call those whom he chooses. They will find him in the noise of the secular Humanism.

That’s why survey after survey when asked if they are Christians you get numbers in the highest quadrant that affirm ‘Yes’

In fact that number is more likely under fifty based on their lifestyle and fruits....

You may be right but then Christianity in America had gotten flabby. Much of the media has been slandering Christ for decades without a peep from the Christians of America. We get what we tolerate. The left never tolerates anything. The stronger believer wins.

They have to be stronger believers than us because they believe in lies. We have the luxury of believing in the Creator of the Universe who came down to Earth as a Man to redeem us from our own nature.

Christianity in America is flabby because we decided that plenty of full churches is more important than the faithful remnant.

They can win literally EVERY battle and God still throws them into the lake of fire to be consumed in the end. They aren’t even speed bumps in God’s plan. It is so sad that Arminian/Wesleyan theology gained control of America’s faith in the 19th century and made us think that we are the motive force that advances God’s plans.

Well yes, the lefts’ victory is a temporal one. It’s sad though, it’s exactly as Tolkien described history, it’s “the long defeat”. It’s sad to see the societies we came to love die.

Some are, certainly. Some of us, though, are just people who have no belief in a deity.

Jesus said, "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake." Matt 24:9

Persecution of Christians is the normal Christian life. This brief era of peace is unusual from the perspective of the last 2000 years.

The Atheist will tell us of all the horror that religion has visited on Mankind and there is some truth to what they say. However they fail to tell us that for each atrocity committed in the name of religion there are other lives given meaning for existence and comfort in times of trouble. Atheism seeks to affirm the negative and offers little towards enlightenment or comfort for the common masses of man. Atheism
is Nihilism. — Captain Compassion.

Yep - today’s ‘atheism” has nothing to do with their own beliefs and their right to believe or not believe - it has everything with an effort to try to criminalize/marginalize our own beliefs. Funny how their perceived “rights” are dependent on our own rights being eliminated...

I’m talking about those who demand we give up our traditions to meet theirs. Thank you for your post. I hope at some point you change your mind and believe in our wonderful savior, Jesus Christ. Have a great day!

Another thing I thought about is how Christians’ ultimate authority is God, not the government.

It also ties in to the 2nd Amendment, which is based on natural law-our God given rights.

If nobody believes in God, they won’t fight for their God given rights and government will be their ultimate authority.
